Heart beating really hard

My problem. My heart beats really hard, not fast, and blood pressure is normal, but when it beats, it beats really hard.
The power of the beat keeps me awake at night. This isn't your normal "I can feel it beating", I can lay my laptop on my stomach as I an laying down, and the laptop will move with the beat. My bed springs will squeak at times from the beat. I have had X-rays, EKG, and wore a monitor, and all is normal.
I can feel it pounding in my ears, neck and sometimes my head will feel like it's trying to expand with each beat.
Sitting here looking at the screen, my head is bobbing back and forth with each beat.
I know this has been asked before, but maybe someone has something new.
Thanks.

It’s really ok. However, I would advice to undergo the blood test first. Iron pills should be taken for at least 3 months to give their effect, and they are associated with gastric upset. I think you don’t need to go through such things before being sure that you are anemic.
Another thing. There are many types of anemia, and iron is not always the right treatment for all these types of anemia.
Just do the blood test. If you have anemia, the doctor will look for which type and treat it according to the type. Otherwise, you won’t need to go through the iron pills side effects. I’ve been through them before, and they really showed me hell.
Let us know what happened with you. I will be happy to give you any further advice.

Thank you for your reply. Most answers I have received over the last few years have been the normal, "to much caffeine or anxiety" or other answers that do not fit my condition.
And then sometimes the diagnosis would lead off to other things that had were way off base.
Just to add. I am 51, male, not really overweight, don't smoke or drink. Eating right is another matter.
The last few times I have been for a checkup, it has came back high blood sugar and cholesterol. I would then do the fasting test, and it would still come back high, then I would be sent for the glosose test at the hospital, and it is always normal.
A lot of times when the pounding is worse, is right after I eat, like maybe a full stomach is putting more pressure on something.
Tho last night I ate very little before bed, and it kept me awake for hours.
I will try some iron pills first and give that a few days to see if anything changes, if not I will ask about the Echo.
Again, thank you for your reply.

Have you made blood investigation? Anemia could present with forceful heart beat, and a Full Blood Count would help in this case. Otherwise, you should do echo to make sure that the valves and muscles are normal. It’s like your heart is pushing the blood forcefully through a stenosed valve. Think about echo appointment.
I hope to hear good news from you soon.
