I would stop thinking about your heart and get on with life, seriously. I have severe heart disease and feel nothing so I just get on with life. The difference is, I'm 54, ex-smoker and you are only 18. For you to have a heart condition would have been picked up on an EKG, so if you need reassurance, get one of those done. I would seriously just stop worrying.99% of pains are associated with other issues other than the heart. Perhaps with your anxiety you are suffering from reflux?
Thanks for the reply! I had several test like ekg, chest xray, etc all came back fine. It's just that I can't help myself, but I will try my very best to overcome this. Hope you're fine also, i also don't smoke but sometimes secondhand
As a lifelong anxiety sufferer, I can tell you this is probably from stress. Could also be a side effect of anti anxiety meds if you're on any. Stress can cause muscle aches. So can fatigue.
You should also make sure you're not sleeping funny. I actually hurt my arm by sleeping on it once.
One option would be to try taking a Vitamin D supplement. Something like 70% of people don't get enough. Unless you spend an inordinate amount of time in the sun, you probably don't get enough. That can cause muscle aches too. Try 1000-2000 units of vitamin D. Any drug store will sell it. Over the counter. Also helps with general health maintenance.
Thanks for the reply! yeah I'm so stressed with this vicous cycle. when i'm anxious, i feel pains, when i feel pains, i feel anxious. It's probably endless, but everytime i sense discomfort or just something bothering in scary parts of my body like chest or head, i cant stop worrying. but as ed said, i should get on with my life, i know it's hard but i'll try my best
When you feel anxiety is hitting you, just shut your eyes, take deep slow breaths, and feel it disappear. Over time your anxiety should lessen. Picture yourself on a nice sunny beach or somewhere nice while breathing.
