I was on atenol before being diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and I felt strange all the time, I was out of breath, tired and I put on weight rapidly, in the end I took myself off and told the doctor I wanted further investigation, I am now on tambacor which is designed for heart rythm problems and its a lot better

I was always tired after one of my a-fib or a-flutter attacks. My EP told me this was normal because my heart was beating so fast that I felt like I just ran a marathon. Atenolol is a beta blocker which can make you tired also. I was on it for a couple of months and was taken off of it due to being tired all the time.
