Can I work in the yard before a cardiac cath?

I had a stress test. My EF is 37%. Results are: A large sized, severe severity, significantly reversible defect exists in the mid and distal inferior, septal, and anterior segments and apex.  I only get slight chest pain in the morning and after eating. If I rest it goes away and feel good and strong the rest of the day

Call your doctor's office and *ask*.  No one will be irritated, and you and all the personnel will be better off because of your question.

I agree with the previous response but most importantly you should ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

As long as you do not get chest pains from working in the yard, it will probably be no problem to do some light work.

Still, as long as you have not had the cath, the exact cause of the defect is not charted and therefore it is wise to be prudent in physical activities.
