Sounds normal, except for frequent ventricular ectopic/extra beats. It depends on the definition of frequent, the origin of the ectopic beats, and if you have underlying heart disease. Many, many, many people have benign/harmless extra beats.
Well, apart from 'frequent VPC or PVC' yes.
It depends really on how frequent and how many so your Cardiologist/Doctor will have to provide you with more detail. Many people don't notice these events happening, others have an awareness and describe and extra beat, or a pounding. About 5% of people will produce a PVC on a 2 min recording ECG strip, and around 70-80% will produce one in 24 hours. It's basically an extra signal generated in one of the ventricles, usually the left, which causes an extra beat of the ventricles. Obviously if you get too many in a row, it isn't good, but your Doctor is probably going to want to look for further clues now. He will probably want to look for evidence of heart disease, or maybe heart valve issues. An echocardiogram is likely to be the next step, which is totally non-invasive. He may want to incorporate a nuclear stress test alongside this. PVC's are very rarely dangerous, but it has become clear that they CAN show an underlying cause which can be treated.
