LVEF

hi iam 36 yrs old , 178cm tall , 131 kg , i was feeling something heavy on my left side chest , ecg was good , ck was fine , sonar was good also but i want to ask what does LVEF 58% means ? my BP was 140/90 ,,, that was one month before ... now iam 119 kg so i lose wight and my BP is 110/70 , my pulse is 61-78 is that normal ? thx alot

Your heart rate and blood pressure are normal. LVEF is the fraction of blood pumped out of a ventricle with each heart beat. The term ejection fraction applies to both the right and left ventricles; one can speak equally of the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and the right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF). The normal range is 55-75% so your LVEF is normal as well.
