Nausea and lightheadedness

My husband, 65, has a history of heart disease. As of late, he complains of extreme fatigue, nauseau & lightheadedness. Is this med related or heart related?

Thanks for the info. No shortness of breath, but we finally got a BIPAP his morning for his severe sleep apnea. No new medications, so I'm going to try this 1st and see if it helps. He has also been experiencing depression, and I think it also may be sleep related.

If he has been taking the same medications and has not had any changes to his medications and these symptoms are new, he should definitely see his doctor.  Medications can cause fatigue, and blood pressure medication can cause lightheadness from raising from a sitting position.  Heart worsening symptoms are fatigue, nausea and lightheadness.  Is he experiencing any shortness of breath?  Is he able to eat any foods without experiencing nausea?  If he is only able to eat fruit, then this would be a warning sign that his heart condition is worse and he should seek medical attention.
