My wife has had a sudden onset of PVCs in the last two months.  She also has intermittent episodes of chest pain that radiates through to her shoulder blades, up into her Jaw, and down her left arm.  She has GERD and has had ulcersin the past, and takes medicine daily.  The Chest Pain is sometimesmoderated by taking an asprin.  Her PVCs come every third to 4th beat and have ben verified with multiple ECGs, Holter moniter.  She has passed multiple stress tests, heart ultrasound, chest xrays, and heart cath.  Her chest pains are normaly short duration 5-10 minutes but they are geting worse.  They wake her up at night, cause her to grab her chest in pain, make her nausious, dizzy and light headed.  So far the doctors tried magnisum, and zinc with no improvement.   Her pains come daily with no obvious triggers.    My wife does not go to the hospital or call the doctor when these episodes occur - because every test keeps telling her her heart and arteries are fine.  It is geting worse and even she tels e sometimes she is scared and thinks sheis going t hit the floor in a real heart attack.  Has anyone experienced thistype of PVC symptoms and are there any courses of treatment beyond repeated office visits spread out ovr weeks or months?

I have had sudden onset of PVC's in the last month as well.  They are driving me crazy and are very scary.  All heart tests done declare my heart in fine shape.  I have added an iron supplement that seems to help a little and a calcium plus magnesium supplement.  I have another doctor appointment next week and we'll see if any new light can be shed on the matter. If she still feels things aren't quite right, don't give up and possibly try another doctor.

If your wife had all the heart tests done in the recent past and all the tests came out negative i.e. NO heart problems it could be stress/anxiety.  Anxiety/stress/panic disorder can give people symptoms like they were having a heartattack.

Its a known fact that PVC's can be triggered by stress as well as many other causes or no causes at all.  But stress and anxiety can bring on PVC's it does with me.
