I have been having dizzy spells since last summer. At the time my PCP gave me an ekg and said it was abnormal. She asked if I was having any chest pains and I was not at the time. At the time she diagnosed me with vertigo and prescribed me with medication which did not do anything. Now I am having chest pains and shooting pains going up the side of my neck, and some times in my arms an fingers. I also seem to be having a sensitivity to heat. If I am close to heat from a heater in the car or at home the symptoms start to occur. If I also eat fried food or pizza I will start to get chest pains and dizzy as well. I also get shortness of breath. I went to the emergency room recently and they took an ekg and my pressure and said it was normal. A nurse started to argue with me saying that I am young and fine and the test were normal and what do I want them to do. At that time the chest pains started getting worst, stress also causes my chest pains as well. If I get excited I will get a sudden sharp pain in my chest. A few days for back pain I took a Bayer and the pain in my chest got so bad I could hardly breath. Also oddly enough drinking alcohol causes the dizziness and chest pain to calm down a little. My doctor gave me a referral for a cardiologist and ordered an exercise stress test stress. I know something is wrong and doctors are blowing me off. I also used to be a heavy smoker and heavy cocaine user as well. If I even attempt to smoke the dizziness and chest pains get extremely intense. Please someone help me.
