To describe the position of an abnormality in the heart, the heart is divided into 17 segments.
One of these segments is the apical inferior segment (segment nr 15).
Perfusion means how well the blood supply is in a specific region.
So, apical inferior perfusion is the blood supply in apical inferior region of the heart. This region is fed by the Right Coronary Artery (RCA).
This perfusion can be good or impaired etc.
You do not provide more info, but if it is impaired, it is often caused by a (partially) blocked RCA, which in many cases is treated with the placement of a stent at the position of the blockage.
Hope this sheds some light. Feel free to ask further questions.
Take care,
Ger
