STRESS!STRESS!STRESS?

I've had 2 doc's say that stress causes anxiety and anxiety, wakes you up in middle of night making you think your goinhg to die of heart attack, suffocation, it is very, very scary. I just woke up ai 3:30 am feeling like my breathing was laboured, chset tightening. I've been told it could be pre-menapause, them my obgyn laughed and put me on a low dose valium when this starts to occur.I'm sick of this mess. I just start praying and hope I'm not having a heart attack.I'm 38 with high level stress managment job.I personally feel like it has something to do with pre-menapause or hormone changes. If this is happening to you, try calculating how oftenthis happens around your period,(if your a gal)
my is ususally 2 weeks before and in the middle of. Not sure. I just ususally take a pill if i feel it coming on and it really calms me and I can go back to sleep. hope this will help someone else. I know how alone it can be, and how stupid you can feel for calling 911.Been there. Sometimes I just pray and fall right back to sleep. It can really make you check up on your relationship with Him.

Just to cut to the chase, I’m going to give a kind of review for Normotim. The ones I found online can be too short sometimes, so I wanted to talk about my experience. First off, it’s not a magic potion that will grant you wishes. It’s a simple mix of natural ingredients that help support normal things like brain function, stable mood, etc. Not everything works instantly like coffee when you’re sleepy, but after a few weeks of using Normotim regularly, I have a few thoughts. Combined with my regular (semi-healthy) regime, I have definitely seen a change for the better. Work has gotten easier for me, and I just seem to be able to like, think better. If you ask me, Normotim is worth a try.

hi i have this too, but have recently had an ablation for svt, my doc put me back on heart meds and arranged for more tests. i was told 2 years prior to my condition diagnosed that it was anxiety, anxiety and stress should not stop any doctor from investigating other possibilities.

hope you find a cure, and hope they don't tell me it's anxiety after my op lol.

Join the club, membership you and me. I wake with a start feeling like I'm suffocating and shallow breathing. I had this more or less for a few months then went to the doctor. He reassured me and that night and for a few after I was much better but then it slowly but surely comes on again.

I'm a similar age to you and can exercise (running for 5km in 30 minutes) regularly but still can't shake fears of heart troubles.
