Pulmonary Insufficiency

I have been diagnosed with pulmonary insufficiency. The echo revealed that my heart and all valves are normal. I do not have pulmonary hypertension but on a scale of 1-10, it leaks at a 4. It is not closing completely. I do not have stenosis, as everything is normal. What could be causing this and is there anything that I can do in the form of supplements etc. to strengthen it and be 100%? Can this be cured?  There doesn't seem to be much research on this subject.  I am on Lysinopril and Propranolol.  Thank you.

Pulmonary valve (tricuspid) valve indicates some blood back flows into the left ventricle rather than into circulation.  The number you give represents mild to moderate regurgitation.

Usually, the condition is watched by echo for any progression, and the ace inhibitor and beta blocker you are prescribed is the proper medication.

The tricuspid leaflets do not completely close over the orifice (valve opening) you stated.  Sometimes as one ages there is some calcification and stiffness of the leaflets and orifice that impair closing.  The echo reports the valve are structually normal thereby eliminating congenital defects.  Without operational intervention, there is no remedy and often no symptoms until or if regurgitation becomes severe.  No pulmonary hypertension and heart chambers are normal dimensions is a possitive.
