Because of the way our nervous systems develop before we are born, there is a difference in the way we experience types of pain.  Here is the rule:  if you have chest pain that you can touch or change or relieve by pressing on it, or by changing your position, it is NOT heart pain.

It is what is called 'somatic pain,' which you can google.  Pain from the heart is 'visceral pain,' which you can also--and should--google.

The numbness and pain you feel in your arm and back are probably the result of a pinched or compressed cervical nerve--one in your neck.

I suggest seeing an orthopedic doctor.

Thank you so much for the answer, its relieving to hear that its not heart.

I saw another doctor today, he said it might be because of the compressed nerve too. he also said hand numbness and pain somewhere near the heart is a sign of nerve issue and also said that it also indicates that you have vitamin B deficiency.

He said when the patients have the numbness they develop vitamin B deficiency.  because i told him that my back is also so sensitive to air like i can feel the air flow and back hair moving.

So he suggested 10 shots of Neurobien on alternative days.
I think you will be feeling better soon.  You might also ask your doctor if physical therapy might be a helpful addition to your treatment.  Many of my friends have benefited from it.  More info here:

Thanks for sharing this article, i found it very information and infact it almost describes my condition with pins and needles condition. it only leaves the heart side.

Also it talks about couple area of pains.

C5 nerve root (between cervical vertebrae C4-C5): weakness in the deltoid muscle (front and side of the shoulder) and upper arm; shoulder pain and numbness

" C7 nerve root (between cervical vertebrae C6-C7): weakness in the triceps muscle (the back of the upper arm and wrist); numbness and tingling in the back of the arm and the middle finger of the affected hand "

these both are my conditions .. but i wonder why its chasing me for 5 months now.

and why neurobien is working on this?

any idea?
Why have you had the condition for 5 months?  Stop and think about it:  If you're 34, you're mature.  Like many adults, you may have early arthritis of the neck vertebrae, which can be very long-lasting.  In fact, it can be a lifelong problem for many adults--though physical therapy can help a great deal.  Second, you may have developed some sleeping or sitting or postural habits that put stress on your cervical nerves. These probably will not change without treatment, such as physical therapy.  Or you might have suffered some small injury you were not aware of, but which irritated several nerves in your neck.  After we are grownups, nerves tend to heal very, very slowly from injury.  Five months is nothing.

Neurobien might be working for several reasons.  One is the 'placebo effect,' which you can google.  Second, it is entirely possible to have two medical conditions at the same time, such as a vertebral problem as well as a vitamin shortage.

Please describe the quality and location of your pain. Is the pain localized to one particular area? When you state that the "heart side" becomes hot, what is the location precisely? That could possibly indicate inflammation which could cause compression of the nerves. That would explain the "pins and needles" sensation as well as the numbness. Do you exercise frequently or perform any repetitive motion on a regular basis?

Hello, Thanks for your answer. Its somewhere near the heart, have a look at this picture for an idea.http://imgur.com/a/whTZ5 , this is the area which hurst alot and have to put my hand in there for hands which make me feel better.

its just near the Esophagus but close to heart where you have a small hole kind of it. i am sorry i can't explain better but picture can show it.

and left back area also goes numb. it has been happening for the 5 months but couldn't figure out why.

It really changed the quality of my life now, can't concentrate when it flares up near the heart, left area goes numb for 4 to 5 days a day.

but doctor says its not heart related because of the multiple ECG test.

would please any help or suggestion
