QUOTE: i worked out for one min on the bike. checked haert bet is was 91 is this normal?
>>>>>>A heart beat at rest should be less than 100, if not there can be a medical problem called tachycardia and if heart rate at 60 or below at rest that is also considered a problem.
For effective heart exercise, the formula for proper heart rate is 220 minus your age and sustained for about 30 minutes. If you were on a bike for 1 minute with heart rate of 90, that probably would be about right as a warm up (for about 3 minutes) to gradually increase heart rate before sustaining a tarket heart rate based on the formula provided.
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions, you are welcome to ask. Take care.
yes very normal can get pulse rate of 91 just walking to the bike lol its not always the speed but the rythem that matters exercise hr max is 300 - age so if your 30 max hr is 270 as long as u stay in a good rythem thats whats important
