Hi there, Janananda,
You shouldn't have to live with SVT's. Get a referral to a Electrophysiologist and have mapping and maybe even treatment, i.e. Cardiac ablation, done by a GOOD Electro-doc.
I had SVT attacks and A Fib and had Ablation in 2007 and doing great :) I just made sure that he was indeed an Electrophysiologist as that is the ONLY heart Specialist that does proper mapping and ablation.
All the best and let me know if you need any further info about the procedure, etc.

Hello and hope you are doing well.
As SVT is an abnormal rhythm, the commonest symptoms are palpitations and a bounding pulse. It can also cause dizziness. It can sometimes cause chest pain or breathlessness, when it may need to be treated. You can try vagal maneuvers like coughing, gagging, or putting your face in ice-cold water, as this temporarily slows down the rhythm. Medications like verapamil and catheter ablation are needed for more symptomatic SVTs. Also, maintain a diary and note down your symptoms, to see what triggers your attacks.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
