Your numbers are high, but you need to look at the breakdown. First off, your TGL's should be under 150. Not hard, just cut out the empty carbs like breads, sugars, pastas etc. Also, drinking will elevate your TGL's so don't over do it. You could start on a Fenofibrate like Tricor to lower your TGL's it works well. A statin will not really do that much.
Your LDL is just a tick over the recommended level of 130, you should be able to reduce that with basic lifestyle changes like exercise and diet. If you have a family history of heart disease or other risk factors you may consider a statin, but I would go the lifestyle change route first.
Your good HDL is also high, that's good and it contributes to your overall high TC.
So, if it were me, I would work on my diet and make sure I get in 30 - 60 mins of moderate exercise most days of the week. I would also ask about a Fenofibrate for my TGL's as well as they work quickly. Even with one, you need to do your part and watch the diet.
Hope this helps,
Jon
