looking for a referral

My dad has mitral valve prolapse & needs surgery to repair or replace.  Repair is less invasive, so we prefer that.  He's in real good health except for this (I mean, he climbed mountains and ran marathons into his 70's!); but, he's 83 yrs. old.  Anyone have a recommendation for an excellent doc in southern California?  He has insurance.  Thanks.  L

Just find one that does 3 per day . The more they do the better they are. P lus the better the hospital is.

The best source for a cardiologist would be a general medical practioner doctor from the area you have in mind,

Thanks for your question.  Take care,

Ken
