Will do, I will do everything I can. The dr. also said it may have something to do with my ibs and reflux. He thinks my esophagus could becausing irritation to the heart. idk. I wouldnt wish this on anyone. They come and go. Im hoping they disappear for a while again soon. Thanks for your help. :)
In as isolated form as you have them you really are not in any danger. It would be good to get a baseline of your heart checked but they can tell a lot from an ekg and if that looked good in general it is likely your heart is functioning fine so it is important to work on the fear this is causing you. It will rob you of your well being. People live their whole lives with them and nothing ever comes of them. They are just extra beats. Yours seem to be timed in the most uncomfortable way but they still are just extra beats. Try to work on fear and anxiety and I suspect they won't bother you as much.
Thanks for the post. I have seen my doctor about these and he never caught them but said they are likely pvcs. He put me on motoprolol and doesnt seem concerned. They are just so scary though. The way they take your breath away. He did blood work and ekg. The er did a chest xray. Nobody has ever found anything. I am without insurence and cant afford a cardiologist sadly. These things disappear for months, then show back up randomly.
Unless you are having immediate symptoms while in the er a trip there is really a waste of your time. ERs really are designed for immediate emergency save your life scenarios. Your best bet is to make an appointment with a doctor to get a physical and see if you can get into a heart doctor to get evaluated fully. You may be able to get a monitor to catch what you are feeling but from my layman's experience of having all sorts of heart rhythm issues it does sound like some sort of isolated ectopic beat. In such small numbers and without any other symptoms you likely have nothing to worry about. The more you stress about them the more you will bring them on. Watch for any stomach issues and avoid caffeine if you can and see if that helps. And do go and get a check up with a doctor. Take care, try not to worry and keep us posted on how you are doing.
