Holter monitor results

I recentely was told by my doc that i have a slow heart rate while sleeping of 32 bpm. Well today i went to the doc office to get a copy of the holter results. I noticed some things she didn't even tell me. Anyone with knowlage of this i hope can give me some peace of mind.

Well the results say i had 516 bradyarrhythmia episodes longest one was 580 beats, dont understand that.
It says Minimum heart rate was 32 beats per minute during sleep. It says small pauses were noted. Two significant pauses were noted, longest one was 3.1 seconds at 6:39 A.M. no pvs were noted. Two Pacs were seen. Supraventricular tachyarrhythmia was also noted with maximum heart rate of 144 bpm. No Ectopy was noted.

Ok I dont understand any of this and doc didn't even talk much about it. What is really concerning me is the pauses. How dangerous are the pauses. please anyone who know about this please let me know

DD gives good input, I agree.

The brady is just the general name for a slow HR, and that is what the 32 bpm was.  I don't recall the definition but think Bradycardia is defined as a HR below 50 bpm, and normal resting HR is 60 to 100 bpm.  Many people who are athletic or simply have strong cardiovascular systems have a resting HR in the 50 to 60 range.

I have had two long term heat monitor sessions and I have never seen the details.. my cardiologist and the EP simply said I have permanent atrial fibrillation and nothing else. That now seems to me there is a possibility I had some PAC, PVC and other short runs that they say no reason to mention.

I had a Holter a month or so ago and I had 2 pauses on it, the longest 2.8 seconds.  The PA said they don't worry until they are 5 seconds long.  I think we probably have these things all the time, i.e., in our sleep, and we don't realize it.  If you are fainting with them, that might be another matter.  I think if there was a concern they would have told you.  They are aware of it, so if you trust your doctor, I would not worry.  Good luck.
