The first thing that you need to do hay22 is calm the heck down because anxiety and stress will make this whole thing worse.  Sounds like you have great docs that are running the right tests for you to determine what the heck is going on.  If your doc has referred you onto another doc that is a good thing for you..they are actually sending you to a specialist that knows all about the heart so that is very positive.  Your age, lifestyle, etc. really don;t figure into this since for some reason if your doc is mentioning an "ablation" to you they feel it may be electrically based which it usually is.  I had an ablation done and actually today is my 4 year anniversary of the procedure....i got my life back...it was a no brainer non invasive procedure....or only minimally and really does work...i always say the ablation was alot easier than a root canal trust me.  You need to ask yourself..what can i do about it right this minute?  If the answer is nothing then divert yourself somehow so you get out of this panic mode...walk your dog, call and friend and do not talk about your heart, go on line and plan a dream vacation even tho you can't afford it...play some music you really like loudly and sing along,....go take a shower and sing in the shower.....just do not focus on this because you are letting it take over your life and you can take control right back...you may have a jumpy heart for the moment but it doesn't have you hay22.....alot of us on this site have gone thru the same physical issues you have and here we sit...paying it forward to everyone who was there for us and saw us thru our situations...you are not alone in this, you are not crazy, you just don't have all of the info yet and it is scaring you is all...take a breather and tell yourself that you just won't think about your heart for 15 min. and then extend it to 30 minutes and then an hour...good luck at the appt. hay22...

Your symptoms sound unpleasant, and I know they are, because I've had lots of them myself. Get this:  I've had them off and on again for like 20 years--and I and my heart are basically fine.

Since you are young and have had bunches of tests, you are probably (like so many of us here) physically healthy but suffering from anxiety.  I know it's not something you want to hear, because how could that be responsible for so many symptoms, right?  It doesn't seem to explain everything.

However, I do know--personal experience, again--that those of us who feel symptoms like these are somehow more sensitive to every little noise, twitch, or whimper our bodies make, and we give them more importance than they really have.  I have found that the best treatment--for me--is an occasional course of one of the SSRI depressants.  Of them all, I find Zoloft the most calming, and believe it or not, when I finally give in after a bout of weird heartbeats and so on and take my little 25 mg of zoloft every day, after anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, the internal racket and worry gets softer and softer, and finally goes away.

My suggestion is that you give this class of medications a try.   You might have to go through a couple of them, because people are all different, but my guess is that this is what will 'quiet down your alarm system,' as my shrink says.
