Heart echo question

Can a radiologist tell you results on a heart echo after the test? I've had one tell me all looked good nothing to worry about, and then recently(1 yr) went to a different person in a cardiologist  office he made me look away from the screen when he did the test, then wouldn't tell me if anything was wrong he said " I don't read the tests I have to send them to whoever ordered them and they will give you the results" that worried me something may be wrong so he wouldn't tell me but my last test the different guy told me...?

Thanks for commenting! I suppose that makes sense as to letting the doctor read the results to make sure he doesn't miss read or misses a report...The guy that told me all was fine said he wasnt suppose to tell me but said all looked fine but hes got to let the doctor review it to be sure. I appreciate the feed back and i will be tested on my arota CT scan with dye...i will have my results my next doctor visit on the 10th of december wish me luck! God bless

I think it depends who you go to.  I had a stress echo at our small county hospital with a technician administering the test, and my cardiologist guiding her in the placement of the transducer.  He told me right there that my heart looked structurally fine.  If it was just the tech there, I'm sure she would have released nothing to me.
