Pvc's and copper IUD

This is a question for the ladies I have Been suffering with pvcs nearly 20 a minute for the last three weeks! Everything I did, it was their exercise, sleeping etc. I made several trips to the dr and one to a and e everything came back fine don't worry relax etc! Last visit to the dr I was shattered and he said he thinks I need to take 14 days of work rest and get some sleep! Said he didn't think I need beta blockers and just to fight the problem on my own which is anxiety! I didn't even know that I was anxious! Only thing I was anxious about was my pvc's!!!
Yesterday I seen a specialist who explained that my copper iud could be causing it as my body might be trying to get rid of it and it's getting tired of fighting! So I told him to get it out! It's rediculous but almost exactly straight after I felt like I could breathe again! This morning for the first time in 21 days I have woke up without my heart hiccuping!!!! Weither i want to believe that was the cause and thats why theyve stopped, a bit of a placebo effect i dont care all i know is i have three weeks worth of miss sleep to get on with!!!!Any body else had experiences with pvcs and copper IUD's!!!!

Wow I have for the past 5 days have been experiencing pvc's all day all night with almost every beat which I have never had nor heard of and recently learned that this is what it is after being rushed to the hospital, to research on my own about this mirena iud that I had put in by my obgyn about 7 months ago could very well be the cause, it hasn't regulated nor stopped my period either, I hope more woman research this issue before getting the mirena, because I had no idea what I was getting into, needless to say I will be getting this out very soon before it causes any real heart damage that if it hasn't already! Why isn't this issue or side affect stated on the brochure for the mirena?

5 days on and no pvc's I'm being told that I cudve had a copper imbalance causing them! I'm soo happy and rested!!!!

I have the mirena IUD and it didn't make a difference in my PVCs. A friend of mine has the copper and no difference on her end either. But you are right, if it made you feel better, even if it is the placebo effect then so be it! So glad you got some much needed rest my friend.

I know these darn things can cause so much anxiety, I have it from them too!
