Ambulatory ECG report

I recently consulted my GP about felling lightheaded and breathless after minor exertions (standing up, going upstairs), even though I am a 20 mile a week runner. (my resting heartrate is about 45)
In the 48 hours ECG report I got the following:
Isolated Narrow Premas, 247
2 to 5 narrow premas,     118
Narrow complex runs        4
Isolated wide premas,    3572
2 to 5 wide premas,       3927
Wide complex runs,        205
Relative pauses,            545
Absolute pauses,           352
Bradycardias,                864

I'm worried at the number of relative and absolute pauses. Can anyone please comment what would be 'normal'

John

Hi ISW,

Thank you very much for your response. I have arranged an appointment through my GP to see the local cardiologist. Let's hope I survive for the month it will take till the appointment.

Hi John!

You should definitely see a cardiologist.

The report reveals a high amount of ventricular ectopic activity, including runs of (possible) ventricular tachycardia, and pauses.

A relative pause is that the interval between two beats is suddenly prolonged related to the previous beats, say you have a heart rate of 120 (interval between heart beats 0,5 sec) and suddenly the interval is 1 sec, that's a relative pause. An absolute pause is longer than 2 seconds.

I'm not a physician and can't give you a diagnosis, but you should see a cardiologist because this may not be completely benign.
