if you want a really absorbable dose of mag, you should try Mag Glycinate. I've tried them all, from my own experience, Mag Glycinate is the most absorbable, I actually feel very relaxed after I take it. The best sort of relaxed I've ever felt. And you need calcium with it too!
It makes a lot of sense. As we age not only do we get less sun to make vita D, our skin can't produce as much as it used to. Double whammy.
anywho, the best vita D is form the sun if you can find time to get some parts exposed.
So, I recently was put on a very high dose of vitamin D - 50,000 ius times 8 weeks. I have been feeling weird off and on since. I took my second dose Sunday. Yesterday was when I started really having bone pain, exacerbated fatigue and palpitations, as well as muscle cramping.
I Googled vitamin D (high dose) and side effects....So...if you take it and you don't up your magnesium, these are exactly the side effects! I have decreased my mag and haven't eaten my normal high mag diet in a few days! I just took two mags, ate almonds, avocado and dark chocolate for breakfast....let's see what happens.
Maybe it's some sort of immune issue, autoimmune, viral? Get an appointment with an endocrinologist?
Well, last night was one of the worst. Yes, I have the PVCs, PACs, and weak pulse. I also could not kick the weird fatigue. Felt absolutely like I was dying. I think I need an ECHO....but my holter was so normal.....grrrrrr.
