PVC's not new but dramatic increase

Hey all! (posted this in another forum but didn't get much response)
I know the general idea that PVC's in structurally normal hearts aren't life threatening.  I get that, so my question isn't about that.
Let me explain...
I've had what feels like PVC's for an incredibly long time now...ever since I was a child I remember feeling a skipped beat and then a thump right after.  It felt like my heart did a flip and I had to take a deep breath because it made me feel slightly breathless.  No worries...I have never been one to worry about simple things that don't interfere with my life.
Fast forward to about 10 years ago I was working out in a Box-fit class (high intensity, excellent cardio workout).  Suddenly after about 20 mins of being in "the zone" with heart rate (80% max HR) I started to feel them one after the other (with a few normals in between)  It was like "normal, normal, pause, THUD, normal, pause, THUD, normal, THUD....etc).  So I decided it was time to stop, take a break & get some water and sit down to rest a little.  Ended up that I just completely stopped because this irregular HB was lasting for a good 30 mins.
Never went back to that class LOL
Let me also tell you that ONE doctor told me he heard a murmur...did an echo and because of how my heart is situated behind my sternum (straight up and down???  ever hear of that? ie. NOT slanted to the left) the tests were inconclusive because they couldn't get a pic of my mitral valve (he was testing for MVP)....Here's the kicker...no other doctor has heard a murmur so I've always just dismissed it.
From that time I'd get here and there episodes while working out...no biggie...hasn't killed me yet LOL
Fast forward to 2 months ago when I started feeling them EVERY MINUTE, of EVERY DAY...at rest....getting worse.  I am now going on day 4 of feeling them at a rate of 12 per minute....GADS this is driving me NUTS!!!
So, I guess what I'm getting at here is, when does one go to the doctor to get them diagnosed even though you know that they're "normal".  Should I be going back to my current doctor to find out if there really is something wrong (ie. a murmur that might be more audible now)?
From my calculations 12 per minute is around 17,000 per day...seems excessive when it started suddenly and just won't stop.
I get quite fatigued from this episode...nausea kicks in and I don't want to eat because it almost feels like I could toss my cookies when I get the big thumps.  I'm starting to get winded from climbing stairs...I am normally a very fit young woman!!!  I run, I workout, eat healthy, etc...
Thoughts?
Thanks :)

You do have a high number of pvcs.  I had a bout of them for about a week that made me feel as you do probably around the same amount.  I couldn't eat also and did an inadvertant fast and it seemed to clear things up a bit.  Over the next month or so they settled down to probably at most 100 a day so more managable.    So the first thing I would ask is how is your stomach?  There is a big stomach connection as well as stress and adrenaline.  For one reason or another you kicked them into high gear.   There are people on this forum who have them like you for months at a time.  I would say if you haven't been to the cardiologist in a while and this is new or worsening symptoms it is worth going in to get reevaluated though my cardiologist told me they really don't do much unless you have over 20,000 but he would try beta blockers if they persisted as I had them and was having trouble functioning.  In general, from what you describe, they are of a benign nature but go get checked out since it seems they are persisting and they are making you sick.  Take care, I hope you feel better soon.
