I am having heart problems

hello
I am 27 years old female.
I have been having trouble with my heart for the last couple of weeks!
sometimes ones or even 3 times a day my heart would 'stop' beating rise up in my chest and after a second would 'hit'my chest with a force and then start beating normal again.It is not painful but I am very worried!please,tell me what can it be! thank you

I am not sure if the message is for me but I reply anyway :)
for a while I felt like my heart just stopped,rise up in my chest for a second and then hit my chest with a force while just going back to its' normal way of beating!!! it wasn't painful but very strange.for a day  I felt like my heart tried to rise up again but could't for some reason and that wasn't a nice feeling at all and I started to feel weak! for the last few days I felt that my heart is not beating in regular pattern, it is not that bad but I can feel it a bit! hope it helped you

Hey I feel to that I am having heart problems but I have asked if the problems I feel are heart related or not.  But I have had no reply! Could you help please to tell me what you feel when you have your problems

What you are feeling  is known as heart palpitations.  There are many types of palpitations, many forms are considered benign   (eg PVCs  and PACs which are very common and have characteristics similar to your symptoms  -  Google these terms and you will get a lot of information)  but there are other palpations which are not benign, but much less common.  

Any time a person develops new onset palpations or a change in their palpations, the recommendation is that they see a doctor.  Very simple and non invasive tests can be used to determine what type of palpations you are having.   Also, Other tests such as thyroid hormone level, iron level, electrolyte levels may be undertaken because when these are at abnormal levels this can cause palpations.
