I think I'll try one TABLEspoon in the am, one at supper and one before bed. That would be 1 ounce, correct? I'll see if that makes a difference and then I can up it as needed.
BTW, can taking too much mg hurt you? I haven't read anything about overdosing, but I wonder if you can overload your system?
Thanks again for your advice.
there are 6 teaspoonfulls per ounce so you are taking 1/6 of an ounce . I would not think that would be nearly enough to see any results...... look at my last post to dmacd74 on what I use. I do not refrigerate the bottle I am using however I do refrigerate the bottles that I do not have open , not sure why it just seems the thing to do.
each 2 rounded teaspoonsful equals 325 mg which is 81% of daily value. so you are taking 1300 mg a day. So if you are using Natural Calm I would think that you would have diarrhea very badly. I take between 2 and 4 level teaspoonsful a day plus about1/2 to 1 oz of Angstrom professional use 9000 mg twice a day. It also seems the more water I drink the better I feel
I just started the Anstrom mg. I took a teaspoon this morning and plan on taking a teaspoon later. Do you think that's about right for controlling PVCs? How much do you use daily? What did you take when you started off?
BTW, does it need to be refridgerated?
Thanks.
8 rounded tsp. per day (in hot water). I'm going to look for angstrom mg today.
A must read "How to change your life with magnesium" by Carol Dean MD ND
How much Natural Calm are you taking a day?
I had the same problem, when I first started mg it worked and then I had to increase the amount by a lot. That is when I had to add angstrom mg as I had to take so much Natrual Calm that I was having diarrhea. Angstrom does not go thru your digestive system so no problem with diarrhea. Right now I am very dependant on mg but it's a cheap price to pay for the peace of mind and lack of skips
I am not familiar with the mg you are taking. I would need to know what percentage of the product is actually being used by your body. In some cases when you take 100mg you only get 10 to 15mg of magnesium. If this is the case you may never see improvement. I am taking Natural Calm and Angstrom mg which is high in absorbtjion and I need between 500 and 700 mg per day to keep on an even keel. You may only be getting a very small percentage of that. I think you would see an immediate result taking the correct amount. I do not believe for a minute it would take a long time to see results unless you are not getting enough mg
antacid that contains magnesium -

pretty new here. but after some reassurance from someone on here and some magnesium I have a much easier time dealing with the 'ticking out of tock' :) still more than a moth to go before I get to see cardiologist. Magnasium def. helps and remembering to drink lots of water. What is Maalox pls?
I also swig some Maalox once in a while, not because of stomach issues, but because of the mag.
I have taken your advise and am using Natural Calm now, another magnesium supplement. I am also drinking coconut water which has double the potassium as eating a banana (which I can't tolerate)....I am waiting for improvement. I am going on over a month now of trigeminy. With the natural calm, I do see slight improvement. Sometimes I take celtic salt as well.
i have taken mg in the past with great results. After about a year, it didn't help. There I was getting them again with a vengeance. I added Calcium and that seems to have helped a lot. I am also adding Vit C (the kind you dissolve in water..yuck) and having a little more luck.
The definition of Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, this is not aimed at you however after reading hundreds of posts I will stick to my original statement, so many people ask for help but when it's offered only one in a thousand take advanage of it, or even take the time to see if it has any possiblities. This simply baffles me. I would have tried eating fly wings if I thought it would have helped me yet after 20 plus years of doctoring with ZERO help from the medical profession and after trying dozens and dozens of things I for the first time have my skips under control yet that I know of not one person on this site has taken the time to give what has helped me even a chance. If I was Dr. Viperon I believe a fair percentage of persons on this site would be having some success. I could also understand some secpticism if I was trying to sell magnesium. But since I do not have a dog in this fight for the world of me I cannot understand why at least one or two persons haven't read every article they can find on mg. Sorry to ramble but I am that convinced what I am stating has some merrit
I think you have to do both. You're right in that we have to look at things our bodies are missing especially the older we get. I'm trying a real natural approach, drinking lots of fruit and veggie smoothies. I use 1 cup of fruit and then a bunch of veggies with some protein powder. So far so good.
I am heeding your advice and going forward with the MG. I just bought the Angstrom.
What would you recommend as a starting amount per day? I am still experiencing PVCs on a daily basis, it is frustrating to say the least. I have been taking mg oxide liquid from Nutricology, 2 teaspoons a day. I hope the Angstrom is better.
I understand it may take weeks or months to see an improvement, so I'm not giving up.
Thanks. :)
