I just got my results

My 21-day monitor came off yesterday and I saw my cardio today. He said other than a very mild mitral, not prolapse, but slightly faulty valve, my heart is strong, normal, healthy, and said my heart would out live me. He said the monitor showed NSR 98% of the 21 days. There were a couple of PVC's and PAC's here and there, but mostly rapid heart rate in the 110's, 120's for no apparant reason. I am to continue on the atenolol 12.5mg but he wanted me to try Hawthorn Berry, Co Q 10, and Theonine. He talked about how amazing it was that there are people walking around with near fatal arrythmias and never know it, and then there are people like me that can pretty much feel even the blood pumping through their bodies. He assured me my chances of getting hit by a bus were higher than dying from an arrythmia. My question is, has anyone ever tried the natural herbs I mentioned above, and if so, did they help or not?

that's great news - the only one I've seen other takes is Co Q 10, which seems to work very well

I can't help with regard to the herbs and I am very happy that you had a good result from your monitor but... What did your doctor say the episodes of rapid heart rate were all about?  It seems odd that you would have heart rate in 110 to 120 beats for no apparent reasons. Were you working out or something like that at the time? I'm not trying to worry you and your dr sure knows more than me, it just seems odd to me. You might want to get a copy of the monitor results just for your own records.
