I am not sure. It really feels that it is the skipped beat that I am feeling. I realized it mostly, because when it happens, I can put my fingers where it is happening and actually feel the skipped beats on my veins/vessels.
I talked to my cardio today about it too, and the only thing that he told me was that it is probably from the vessels constricting and then dilating with the forceful beat that causes the actual pain.I just cannot understand/realize, why it is happening. He told me that he thinks it is nothing to worry about and truth is that I had echos, stress tests(2), EKGs(while it is happening and while not, around 30), blood works, holter, event monitor and everything. The only thing that I saw on the event monitor results when I feel that, is either PACS or sinus arrhythmia. But nothing serious though, as the doctor says.
I also feel the beats on my chest, and I do not care that I can feel them, I just do not know why they feel painful. Sometimes I think it might be from muscles or nerves, but they are the same with my hear beat.
Thank you for your reply!
I don't feel them anywhere else except my chest. I can feel the difference between PVCs and PACs. The latter hits with less force and the pause is less than a PVC. There is also never any pain associated with them. When I had SVT, before my ablation, I swore I could feel a head rush running up the back of my neck to my head. But I now realize that was just a reaction to the sudden onset of SVT and that there was no heart/brain connection occurring. Is it possible this is what you're feeling as well?
