i can share my info on pvcs ....pvcs are usually considered harmless......unless you see them comming more then 6 per minute or you feel they are comming in a row or causing symptoms thats where they are worth looking at(quite the same as Lisa has already mentioned)......but in ur case dont worry in a normal heart they carry no danger(many patient studies have proven this)......now as to answer ur question there are many people who have pvcs and pacs and do not feel them but unfortunately we are those who can actually feel our heart doing this crazy stuff so i think if u have a normal heart you just need to keep reminding ur self that they are not dangerous and reassurence is the key...
I have alot of info about pvc's in my journals or you can google info about pvc's.
In a structurally "normal" heart pvc's are like hiccups and really aren't of any concern unless symptomatic with things like shortness of breath, fainting, chest pain aside from the actual arrhythmia.
Get a copy of all tests you've had and see for yourself exactly what's going on.
1 every 10 min is ok, but if you have around >4-6 per min dr's will want to do something to stop them...to put things into perspective....I lived fine with over 50,000 pvc's, 2,257per hour; 37 per minute this went on for almost a full year, but I've had pvc's since I was a child. I had an ablation took meds and lifestyle changes etc nothing worked. After surgery pvc's went away for a few days and pac's took their place, then my pvc's returned full force - last I checked in Dec 09, I was at over 10,000 daily again and I've had pvc's and pac's daily since.
Damage to the heart if it's normal, probably will not occur until pvc's are in the 15-20% range of daily heartbeats, so for a normal heart that beats 100,000 times that's 15,000-20,000 pvc's daily, however there has been new evidence that pvc induced cardiomyopathy can happen at >4,000 pvcs daily, in most cases when the pvc's are reduced or ablated completely it reverses.
