The feeling of SVT is self-explanatory. PAC's I assume feels just like PVC's. You perceive it as a skipped beat. No difference other than maybe intensity and that varies amongst us. I get a flutter sensations sometimes and sometimes it is almost a vibration. I think that is A-flutter but I'm not sure. I always assumed it was (I have been diagnosed with A-flutter also). Maybe it's fast runs of PAC's. Not Sure but I have the exact same thing.
So, are PACs the things that feel like alot of fluttering- kind of like a little mouse running around in the chest??? I know what AFib, PVCs and SVT feels like- got those nailed down. But I'm thinking that the other must be what many on this forum refer to as their episodes of PACs...can anyone be specific about how they recognize PACs? MAny thanks.
Yes, I hate it. Usually I watch TV in the basement and dread the feeling of slowly getting off the couch and walking two flights of steps to the second story to go to bed. I'm 46 and it makes me feel 90. It's crazy. I can tell you the leg working (climbing motion) must be a certain type of heart strain or something. I was taking christmas lights off the house with a ladder and after a few climbs I get the same thing (actually triggers my SVT sometimes). Maybe jpcox has a point, maybe it's conditioning. As I worry and stop being so active it seems to be getting more frequent. Either that or my condition is worsening. I have always noticed that breathing patterns are a real pac trigger too.
I don't know why it happens but it does. If I'm standing in line at the store with my arms full of odds and ends, my heart will act up. Once I set the items on the conveyor belt, my heart settles down. Inconvenient but temporary.
For the past month I have been having PAC's all day and frequent. I read something that said it can occur if your heart is deconditioned. Mine probably fits into that category. I had a baby 2 years ago, I cannot get back into shape. I went from being in excellent shape to a big mess.
