irregular heart beats

so glad i found this web site, some days I feel like I am going insane because I feel like no doctor or anybody is listening to me and my symptoms keep going on and on and getting worse.I have been having chest pains for over a yr,been in and out of emergency rooms where they draw blood, do a ekg and tell me everything looks fine,I had a nucler stress test done in June of '09 and they said that was fine, now about 2mo ago I started having episodes of where my heart is skipping beats, nurses have even picked up on this when taking my pulse at the doctor,it shows up on monitors when I've gone into the ER,I wore a holter monitor and it showed only two pvs and 7 sve's but my heart rate went from 46 to 137.Now every morning when I wake  up my hands are swelled up BAD and they hurt and my veins are huge.I have also been losing my hair for about 1 1/2 and I just plain feel terrable. My family doctor says"anxiety"...sent me to cardiologist and he says"nothing wrong with your heart"..ugghh how can they say there is nothing wrong when this goes on every single day?Oh and I am on aetenol have been for about 8 yrs for high bb,which the cardilogist says"stop taking it because your bb seems to be under control".Well of course it is because I am taking the aetnol....I feel like no doctor is listening to me and they are just saying oh its anxiety and I am getting anxiety worrying over what is wrong with me and nobody listening.I feel my heart skipping these beats all day every day for the last two mo.And now besides my hands doing this every morning I am having headaches every morning also.

Hi Wildmare...almost sounds like  you have a thyroid problem.  You can have irregular heartbeat with hypothyroidism (I have had in the past) and hair loss is also a symptom, as well as, feeling generally horrible.  You should talk to your Dr. about getting a thyroid test and make sure they go by .3-3 TSH for their normal levels.  If they give you no help, go to an endocrinologist who specializes in thyroid problems.
Good luck with finding a cause and a cure!

I'm sorry that you have been feeling horrible and that you feel like no one is listening to you. I can remember the struggle I went through to get anyone to listen to me. Plus being 24 and in great shape, doctors kinda just push you away and say your fine. But what Ive noticed from talking to many others, is everyone seems to have this issue. The good news is that you have had alot of tests done for your heart and the results being normal is great. But that should'nt stop you from finding an answer to why you feel this way. No one should have to live life feeling horrible. In one year, I went from 3 different family doctors, to dozens of ER doctors,  to 3 different cardiologists , and about 2 dozen tests and over 10 different prescriptions..(2 of them I'm still on because I cant' get off of them). But all that  persistance did help. And it landed me to a EP specialist (Dr. Evan Lockwood) who has changed my life significantly even though I haven't gone for my procedure yet. I would recommend not giving up, keeping the faith in your life, and talking to people on here and listening to their stories and getting as much help and advice from everyone. Ive been on this site for almost a year now, and if It wasn't for the people on here, I probably would have went of the deepend. The real information and the right path to lead you is here, and hopefully you will end up in the hands of someone who can help you. I wish you luck, Kane
P.S> Anxiety is a big one, it does alot to your body that you would'nt have the slightest clue about. Try being on Clonazepam or Zanax to calm you down (even though both are addictive) but helpful till help arrives. Drop me a line anytime.
