Palpitations all day after intense argument?

I've had a tiny, barely audible heart murmur since I was born, and I generally have a heart "flutter" or double beat, or palpitation every once in a while.  But, today I had a huge screaming argument that was very, very intense and for the rest of the day afterward, I felt these flutters off and on.  It was maybe once every half-hour or hour, I'm not sure.

There are no other symptoms other than a sharp pain I had down my bicep yesterday.  Is this anything to worry about, or was it just stress-induced and will go away on its own?

Hello...

As a mom myself, it is natural to worry about our children. I think that the Dr is being thorough and isn't leaving any stone un turned. It is true that some people outgrow heart murmurs with age.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just wait and see what the results of the Echo reveal.

I wish you and your daughter the best of luck:)

I know that really bad arguments can cause the "flutters" it is due to the adrenalin that you released during the fight, and adrenalin can and does cause those "flutters" you are speaking about.

As far as the sharp pain in the bicep area, is it associated with dizziness, shortness of breath, or profuse sweating? Have you done anything strenuous work or lifting? What is your blood pressure? It sure appears to be stress-related, but, if it keeps up or gets worse, I would sure have it checked by your doctor or ER.
