I've never been diagnosed with v-tach. Only SVT. Hopefully I'm just having brief runs of that since I have no underlying heart disease which would make v-tach unlikely.
The episodes I'm trying to diagnose feel like 5 seconds of a fluttery, irregular feeling heart beat. It's hard to describe but it just feels skippy and "off."
Best of luck with your new ICD. I hope it gives you peace of mind.
UGH!! We're 4-6.....right in front of Detroit (2-9)....Um, that's not such a great spot to be in
Hi Connie,
Thanks. Ya think? !! K, feel better already...
My Mets's just lost another. (5-5). How are your Injuns? -Steve
Hey Steve,
I think you're safe!! LOL
Just think your new ICD will give you and "I Can Do" attitude : )
Hope your not losing too much skin with the sticky patches!

Hi. I'm in my 10th day. I have gotten text also to call. When I have they said that I was 'notified' in error, to disregard. About 4 eve's ago, I received call from EP Dr. I said to my wife as she handed me the phone, hmmm, this can't be good, lol. Dr. said that I was having runs of V-tach everyday and he wanted to expedite the ICD plans. I have been hopeful that aggressive med diet would increase EF. He humored me and said to have MUGA on wed and if Ef is under 35, no if's about it. So....
Oh, back to your question, if this helps. When I spoke to his office to set up MUGA, his assistant said that if company (cardio-net) contacted me, they probably had my # down as contact, rather than Dr's office. Although he received a report evry eve. Also, one afternoon the monitoring company (again, Cardio-net) called to see if I was OK after one of my 'events'. (didn't ask, but I assume a bad run of V-tach).
I almost feel like why bother wearing this thing for a few more weeks, if they already have the info they need. Sit here in limbo, just waiting for the inevitable (ICD implantation).
Wishing you well with your condition. I was curious though, if you also suffer from runs of V-tach, do you also get a heat rush over your body? MY thermostat can have my room at 65 degrees, yet I get a tremendous heat rush at times. (geez, I am so concerned about early menopause lmao) Take care, Steve
I've only had the type of monitors that required me to "record" and transmit an event. I will be interested to learn more about this type of monitor. I'm surprised you were not told ahead of time that this could happen. I suppose it could have picked up pretty much anything other than NSR. Maybe a drop in HR when you were sleeping, an increase while you were moving about...maybe a run, VT, aflutter...Hopefully, it's all good and you won't be nervous. Have you called in the recordings?
