Skipped beats after eating

I have been on acebutolol for quite a few years now for premature ventricular beats with really good results. But over the past few weeks I am getting them soon after eating. I thought it was because i had started eating a couple squares of dark chocolate every day. I need to lower my cholesterol so I gave up chips and cookies but have read that dark chocolate is good for heart. Also started eating apples after a meal as my dessert or mid afternoon snack. So today I skipped the chocolate and ate the apple and still had some skipping immediately after the apple.....Could it be the raw apple? It's something I just recently started eating. (Without the skin, because I have to watch my IBS).....,Also last year I was treated for silent reflux with prilosec over a four month period (no heart skips) and I started taking prilosec again two weeks ago thinking it might be digestive? Should have taken effect by now though. My yearly cardio checkup isn't scheduled until February next year. Any thoughts?

I have a feeling that many of us on here and suffer from anxiety also, I know i do. One of the things that helps me with that is coming here and reading everyone else's experiences.

As a person with PVCs PACs and PSVT for over 30 years, all I can say is, no matter how you avoid your triggers, do what your supposed to and all that, sometimes these things just have a mind of their own. I can go for months with barely a flutter, keep doing the same things, and then have a horrible stretch of them. Gastric things do influence mine- I have IBS also, so does lack of sleep, but as I said, sometimes, no matter what the "crazy beats" just go off on a tangent. There is no sure fire formula to get rid of them. Just have to deal which I know is so much easier said than done. I'm going through a bad bout right now, especially after eating. Hope you feel better soon.
