Absolutely! When it happens it freaks me out, and it makes the rest of my day quit anxious. It is good to know that it is still benign.
When I have a couplet or a triplet, or longer string, it sometimes feels like my breath has stopped for a moment, like you said you feel "paused". However, I don't feel all the multiples either. And maybe one day either you'll stop having them, or you won't feel them as much.
As Momto3 said, if you've been told you have a structurally normal heart, it's just a different sensation, really no more important than a single pvc, but it sure can grab your attention can't it?
When I have a couplet, or a run, it feels like my heart is tumbling after itself, like a rolling feeling.
It feels like I am paused when this happens, kinda like all bodily functions stop. Very scary to say the least. thank you for replying
A couplet is two ectopic beats in a row, no normal beats in between. It could explain the "longer" pause, but since everyone is different it's hard to know for sure.
Definitely feels weird, but they're still benign with a structurally normal heart.
