So if I'm hearing you correctly, the stress test showed there was an issue with blood flow that showed up during stress but revereted to normal at rest. This indicated the need for further investigation. Upon further investigation with angiophy they were able to pinpoint the problem. It's a function of cost and invasiveness. They all start with basic heart rate and blood pressure, then EKG, then halter monitor, then Echocardiogram, then Nuc stress test, then angiogram, with each being more costly and more invasive, and also more accurate.
