When I was wearing a King of Hearts to get some readings for them to know what to ablate... I decided to go for a walk and push it to get them their readings. I went into a lethal rhythm that I called in. I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours. I didn't get off the phone until I had a surgical appt. Do be careful with what you try to do for a reading. Or, if you can't be careful (like I often couldn't) then be where you can get help. went running up the alley behind the hospital to come back in with SVT so they could get a 12 lead of it. The next time, they just had me run on the treadmill in the ekg lab. Get your md recommendations depending on how touchy and how treacherous your rhythms are.
no sleep with that monitor. tg only one night
Hello...
I wanted to comment on Thyroid function tests...I was fortunate, well if you want to call a diagnosis of Graves Disease (hyperthyroid) fortunate...what I mean is that I didn't have to keep going back and forth getting labs checked. But it is very true for some, more so in cases of Hypothyroid...even being symptomatic, it may take quite awhile to get this diagnosed through simple Thyroid Function testing (TSH,T3&T4)
Don't give up...if you are truly hypo or hyper, it'll eventually surface. Some Dr's will even start you on very low doses of Synthroid if you are showing symptoms.
yes blood work came back normal.. it was discovered that i had enlarged tyroid. with multi nodules, then after a biopsy it came back, with cancer cells so it was removed. i was having alot of symtoms that pointed to tyriod hypertyroidism, did they do an ultrasound, were there any nodules. enlargement.
Sorry about that short post, I'll try again.
I read that you have nerve problems and thyroid problems. With all the stuff I have going on, the doctors keep testing my thyroid, but it has been normal for the last few months. I was wondering if you had negative results on your thyroid in the beginning of your problems. One doctor told me to keep getting it checked every month and she says that she thought something will show up in the blood work eventually. I have tremors and muscle spasms along with my tachycardia.
I read that you have nerve problems be
Man I go through the same thing I do everything that I can to get my tachycardia to trigger and it does NOTHING... I hate those monitors I think the only one that actually caught something was my 30-day monitor...
i think thats whats going to happen.
I do! Because somedays are more busy than others. I just do my normal day, but also do some of the things that I think are a trigger for my tachycardia. But it seems that every time I have a holter on NOTHING HAPPENS!! Good luck
