By euphoric I mean that I gat really excited and happy; can't keep still and want to get up and go to work like I did when I was young (can hardly walk let alone work) or feel that I can do anything - walter mitty like feelings; go out and start a new business straight away, go buy a new car, new house etc. Feel excited and like I can do anything and not have a problem or worry in the world about it.
By the way the best car I ever owned was a '55 Chev that I put a Dodge engine in with a four speed manual transmission (this was in abouut 1970) which was something at the time! Would wheel spin in 3rd. Later bought a '62 but it was never the same. O'boy - wish I could go back to those days! Stay cool!

Sorry I mistakenly replied to chevy man, my response was meant for you.  I also identify with the symptoms you report about early morning digestion stress with a lot of belching. I believe the digestive stress sends me into a-fib.

I have always thought that my A-fib was connected to digestion, and have been watching more closely now that I can identify better when A-fib is happening.  It started the other night while I was eating dinner,  and another time just after I had eaten.  I suspect I have too little stomach acid, esp to digest coarse foods,  and have confirmed through testing that I am sensitive to certain spices.  So I don't take an antacid, but have pretty good luck with deactivated charcoal pills.  They are esp good for gas resulting from food.

Yessir! It sure does - happens to me all the time. Also can be aggravated by food additives; especially the euphoric feelings. I can't sleep at all some nights with this. Take Zantac effervescent antacid before your last meal and before bed. It helps sometimes. most (young) Doctors will deny it but it's true!!!
