Biopsy!

Plz hbver's correct me why is my hepathlogist pushing me hard to do for the liver biopsy while there is a fibroscan at the hospital?

Biopsy is not too hard.just some precaution to take.
Why you are so afraid?try to do it is more precise than fibroscan.
Also my doc ask me to do I when she doubts in fibroscan result.good luck

What about getting a second opinion from another doctor?
You also may do liver ultrasound, fibrotest (blood), fibroscan and mri of the liver, before going on an invasive procedure. Just my thought, to see if the other support a need for that.

Rami nowadays she is asking me for the biopsy coz of my ALT abnormality(75iu/ml) while the hbvdna is declining to 42iu/ml.

I bet that definitely it's because of good. Ur HBsAg count might be getting decreasesd bcz of your immune system.

I don't think even my skin will heal since my blood count below the normal range. A kind of scary!

You might have told him that you are facing abdominal pain.That's why. :) May be Biopsy gives more info than Fibroscan. Actually it's better to go for it. Just my thought.
