Hi , it might mean he is an inactive carrier , which mean he is positive for hbv but the virus is no longer replicating so is not circulating in the bloodstream.
You should post his latest lab results on here . One of the more clued up members would probably be able to give you a better understanding.
My husband is a carrier also , he is undetectable in the blood through medication as he has a mutated virus.
I live in constant worry and fear, he on the other hand lives by what will be will be , wish I had that attitude . .... anyway make sure that your hubby is under a good hep specialist and never miss an appointment. Good luck
