Hepatitis D

My husband diagnosed hbv inactive from 7 months.he is 37 years now. His recent test results show fatty liver in ultrasound,alt is 29,ast 29 and had dna 480 iu. So my question is related to hepatitis D( is hdv antibodies tests are a MUST in this case ? Cause am afraid alot from hDv alot because it has no treatment effective..and also is hdv antibodies igm and igg are accurate tests or they may be cross react with virus b. Please explain
