1) What is ment by cronic in Hepatitis B
presence of hbsag in the blood.hbv can be benigne illness with no damge to the liver if one has a good antioxidant defence, healthy life, according to latest studies or even reach cirrhosis/liver cancer.so liver must be monitored by a fibroscan
2) How can I find out that the patient is cronic is there any test to find out that?
hbcab igm negative and hbsag positive, this is cronic
I got vacinated my self and my family for the Hepatatis B Vascine immediately when I got to know about my mothers infection.(We are a joint family)
after 20 days of vacination ,unfortuinately my wife after giving insuline to My mother the same needle got pricked to my wife.
What is the probability that she also get infected with Hepatatis B?
If I wanted to do test what are the test I can do and when?
Somebody informed me that the virus cannot be detected before 3 month. is it so?
chronic state falls if the infection is more than 6 months. your mother should have screening and other laboratory tests, though the price for these tests could be a real pain in the pocket. but if you would like to be sure of it. its really worth it.
Thanks,
But still I am confuse how can I find out that my mother falls in cronic or Imute state?
