Hello , i'm new here and really need your help .
When should a patient test for cccdna .
Is there a naturopathic medicine that can help bring down hbsag quantity than entercavir and other anti rectro viral drugs ?. My doc want to put me on traitement , but i'm afraid of this long treatments .Too long indeed .Please help

Thanks so much Nicolefor . I gave her the informations immediately and she called her doctor immediately too ,the doctor appreciated the advice .
She has done the test and we are waiting for the results .

No!!! that will be the greatest error .if your doctor judges it necessary you start a treatment, do it . We can not help you because we don't know about your lab test situation. Give us your lab tests .r .

This are my results
dna 15.250ui/ml, hbsag quanti 22000ui/ml , alt 65 ,GGT 120, fibroscan 7kpa All this done on the 12/02/2016 , my last test dna 14.855 ui/ml , hbsag quanti 20.000ui/ml , alt 70 ggt 125 fibroscan 8kpa this are the results my doc wanted to put me on treatement with .Thanks

She should test for fibroscan ,alt , GGT and abdominal echography immediately .
Stop entecavir and take Tenofovir .
She cant stop coaprovel 300 mg/12.5 , she may have a sudden brain attack .

Does she suffers from diabetes or hypertension.?
If yes , is she on a treatment . ie does she combined the treatment with entecavir?

few herbs like phyllanthus and andrographis are supposed to have anti hbv properties but yet they ain't found to cure it neither any strong positive relationship has been documented. But to some extent they do have antiviral properties. Its better to go for tenofovir than any other thing. The earlier u start the healthier u'll be in long term

never it is useless to test cccdna now, hbsag quant and hbvdna is more than enough on antivirals

I agree with you that a naturopathic medicine may exist , my problem is that i have never seen it with my 2 eyes . i have visited many naturopathic centers , they cure other diseases very well , but hbv and hcv i have never seen just a single cure , may be coming up soon , but for now i have never seen any proofs.

I have a friend taking entecavir , dna keep on increasing from 24.500ui/ml to
68 560ui/ml ,hbsag quant from 1950 ui/ml decreases to 1200ui/ml all these changes in a periode of 5 months . How can you explain this . why is dna increasing ? Can this increase not caused fibrosis ?her doc is confused .

Of course i'm afraid of liver damage . Conventional or naturopathic medicines can cause liver damage . Even fibrosis in a long time treatment .That is even one of the factors i'm afraid to take a long trreatment .
