I was doing a confusion, Hepatitis B surface antibody it is the marker for immunity to hepatita b virus and the cutoff value is 10 IU per ml.
Maybe there is some confusion here. HbsAg and HbsAB are 2 different things. If you have Hbs antibodies that means that you are immune (I believe the cutoff value is 10 IU per ml) and your body developed antibodies against HBV. Do you have the result for HBsAg? It should be non reactive: meaning you don't carry HBV.
HBsAg or Hepatitis B surface antibody reactive means that the person had a bepatitis b infection.
The person had to consult a doctor to see if is a acute or a chronic infection and some other details.
140.4mIU/ml - i don't know if really means something (if the test was done on HBsAg quantitative and not HBsAg qualitative have a look on stef2011 posts)
