Do I have fibrosis?

A quick summary of my case:
HBVDNA - undetected since July-14
HBSAG (quantitative)- 1 iu/ml. One and two years ago it was 4 and 19 iu/ml.
HBEAG- negative since detected in Nov13.
ALT/AST- 20-25 over past 5 years.
Other LFT tests too normal.
Lipid profile- normal
I am diabetic. But in absolute good control.

Ultrasound- fatty liver since Dec15. Moderate fatty. Liver size has gone up in last one ear. (Mild hepatomegaly, 15.9 cm)

MRE (Elastography): shear stiffness 2.3 Kpa (it was 2.1 kpa last year)
Fat fraction- 8-10% (last year it was 3-5%)

July 16 Biopsy observers: mild chronic hepatitis. Ishak modified hepatitis activity index: 3/18, stage 1/6, no iron and copper stains.

Now my question is: looking at my blood reports and MRE, my doc says I don't have fibrosis.
Do I have or not??

Sorry..a typo there. My HBVDNA is below 20 iu/ml... so detected (lab is unable to measure it)

My question on fibrosis was there because my biopsy last year revealed that I had fibrosis stage 1. On Ishak scale it was 1/6.
MRE on the other hand reveals that stiffness is 2.3 kpa.

So do I have fibrosis?

I am 40. My HBVDNA is <20 iu/ml. Therefore detected but not measurable.

You don't have fibrosis. Also if you've been testing undetectable for HBV DNA for 3 years along with HbsAg =<1, according to newest medical guidelines, you're functionally cured. Congrats! How old are you?

Which newest medical guidelines are these? Can you post links? So youre saying a chronic person can be completely cured? It would never reactivate???????
What is 'functionaly' cured?
What if hbv DNA has always been undected but hbsag is detected?
And please post links of your information source
Arent you an inactive carrier if hbv dna is undetectable? You arent cured..or am i wrong? Dont you still need to go for yearly tests? If you are cured why would there be a need to go for tests?? Beacuse theres a chance of getting active at any time right?
According to the newest medical guidelines, someone who tests undetectable for HBV DNA for 3 years while progressively losing HbsAg to the point it drops below 1 iu/ml is considered functionally cured. Which means you're in full immunological control of the virus and the virus will most likely never reactive unless you were treated with immunosuppressive drugs for cancer therapy or have a weak immune system at an old age!
Sorry I can't find links because I read it in an article on hepatitis b Foundation website. If you look hard enough, you'll find it there.

Yes. In Nov 13, I was detected with a viral load (HBVDNA) of 2300 iu/ml. HBSAG 80 iu/ml.
Did you take any medication to make it undetected? What? And for how long?
stay happy you dont have fibrosis anything above 7kpa is considered as mild fibrosis more than 9kpa is moderate and after 16 kpa cirrohsis so dont worry you are perfect this also can be regressed with proper diet and medicine like tenofovir
Also 1 iu/ml Hbsag indicates you are doing great and will clear the virus very soon. Good luck to you
