Hbc (core) IgG reactive means you had the infection for more than 6 months. Hbc IgM means less than 6 months (very recent). In a nutshell, it indicates if you had an acute or chronic infection.

You have nothing to worry about, you are immune. Though, the next logical thing here to do is screen your spouse, children or people you live in close contact with and have them tested with a hepa profile, just to be safe. Hope this helped.

Thanks for that, my positive value was CORE IgG (HBcigG)
My negative was CORE IgM (HBcigm)

Not sure what those mean in the bigger picture

With your profile there, it seems you developed natural immunity from acquiring hepa b recently. If you have a "negative" or ""non reactive" hbsag means you have insignificant or zero hepa b virus in your blood.

You seem to have a typo.. was it HbcigM or HbcigG that was positive? Anyway, as long as you have HbsAB reactive panel, you are protected.
