confusion about incubation period and vaccination

Dear Team,

I got vaccinated with twinrix (3 shots within 3 weeks) but never completed the whole course. I came to know from my doctor that it requires 4 shots in total. 4th shot is given after a year.

I recently got exposed to it. my exposure was unprotected oral giving and receiving 7 days ago. I immidiately got sick and visited the doctor and showed him my vaccination record. He suggested that i should be vaccinated with HEPB 4th shot.

i am confused what if I contracted the virus and after 7 days of exposure i got vaccinated. when should i test and what's gonna happen if i contracted the virus and got vaccinated. I have learned that the virus is not detected atleast for 3 months after exposre.
Thanks
