hbsag positive doesn't mean anything, you need quantitative test of the following:
hbsag,hbsab, hbeag.hbeab,hbvdna pcr, alt/ast
if alt/ast are normal youcan then make fibroscan and ultrasound to the liver to check for liver damage
don't worry, most have inactive hbv so just make all the tests and then you will know if disease is active/inactive or needs therapy
