what is goal of pagays + tenofovir therapy

Hi all,
I want to kw what is goal of pagays + tenofovir therapy?
Suppose anyone has completed therapy and able to reduce virus or may be completely remove, then  is he/she get life time immunity or virus will again appear after few year?  If one reduces virus after 48 week of therapy, in feature again virus will increase then do required again therapy?

goal is only hbv clearance definitively and if there is no hbsag decline by 12-24 weeks peginterferon is stopped

what matters is years of hbvdna by tdf before intf add on, patients who had no intf response but kept hbvdna und continuing antivirals retired antivirals+intf years later and cleared hbv

therapy is not 48weeks once there is hbsag decline pegintf is kept until hbv clearance, now it has been fixed at 2 years combo but hbv therapies are getting personalized when there are expert specialists, incompetent specialists are still not able to personalize hbv therapy

with hbsag less than 100iu/ml all therapies can be stopped because there is immune control of infection which usually go slowly clearing hbv but it is best to keep the combo until complete clearance and hbsab high titer
